A Bit About Me
Dr. Zmuda is an assistant professor of social work at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. She earned her MEd and PhD in Human Sexuality from the Center for Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University. She also completed the Master of Social Work program at Marywood University, and is a licensed clinical social worker with almost 15 years experience in substance use disorder treatment and behavioral healthcare.

Dr. Zmuda's passion for sexual health informs her work in the classroom, her research, and scholarship. She has facilitated trainings for local treatment providers and presented at various state and national conferences. Dr. Zmuda is honored to join the NEPA Pride Coalition in an effort to promote equity and inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ community in Northeastern Pennsylvania and we could not be happier that she has decided to join our efforts.
