Lissette Ballesteros-Furstenau

Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, Lissette has lived in Northeast Pennsylvania for over twenty-five years. With three-plus decades of experience in Finance, working with both for-profit and non-profit entities, Lissette brings a diverse set of skills, having also worked in Human Resources and Marketing.

In her current position, Lissette is responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, tax returns, budgeting, projections, and all aspects of day-to-day finances. In her experience with non-profits, she’s participated in annual audits and monthly finance council meetings, helping to brainstorm ways to utilize the sometimes-limited funds of a not-for-profit entity to best benefit the local community being served.

As a lifelong ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, Lissette is thrilled to bring her talents to the NEPA Pride Coalition in its mission to help those in Northeast Pennsylvania have equitable access to community services by providing education and behavioral health training to first responders and educators.

Lissette resides in the Poconos with her husband of over twenty-five years and is the proud momma of two LGBTQIA+ children.
